How often should I use the Glycolic Gel Cleanser?
If you are new to chemical exfoliants, start by using it 2–3 times per week in the evening. As your skin adjusts and becomes more resilient, you can increase usage to once daily. We do not recommend using it more than once a day to avoid over-exfoliation.
Is it normal to feel a slight tingling sensation?
Yes! A mild tingling is common as the Glycolic Acid works to dissolve dead skin cells and deep-clean your pores. However, if you experience intense stinging, redness, or burning, rinse it off immediately and reduce the frequency of use.
Does this cleanser increase sun sensitivity?
Yes. Glycolic Acid (an AHA) can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It is essential to apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning while using this product, even on cloudy days.
Can I use this with other active ingredients?
We recommend avoiding other strong exfoliants (like facial scrubs or high-percentage Retinol) in the same session you use this cleanser. If you use our Peptide Serum, apply it after cleansing to help soothe and plump the skin.
Will it dry out my skin?
While Glycolic Acid is an exfoliant, our gel formula is designed to balance deep cleansing with hydration. To prevent any dryness, always follow up with our Rice Toner and Ceramide Moisturizer to lock in moisture and support your skin barrier.
Is this cleanser effective for acne-prone skin?
